Review:

The unit we received was clean and featured a newly reconstructed bathroom along with nice table and chairs. the hotel's location is fantastic, being close to the picturesque shores of Lake Maggiore, offering stunning views of the mountains, lake, and boats, as well as plenty of sunshine. It's also conveniently near a shopping center and a lovely promenade along the lake.

Rich breakfast a wide range of meals.

Well-maintained place and stunning location so close to the shore of Lake Maggiore views of mountains, lake, boats, sunshine, a beautiful pizzeria with fine staff, and the restaurants. Also, on the lakeside with stunning views.

The location of the property was fantastic, behind the mountains. Lucky that it was a 10-15 minute walk from Pret a Manger, offering food to go.

This hotel is well-kept and has a high standard. the staff were really polite and made my stay enjoyable. Everything was handled smoothly, and nothing felt like too much trouble. 😊.

Hotel needs a complete refurbishment Bath room tilles cracked Air condithion out of date and noisy Poor welcome at reception. need to smile a bit!

Convienient location.

Room was dull, bathrooms poor. Ispra is also a small boring town. We won't be going back

Hotel Europa is a spotless establishment situated in a beautiful building. It is conveniently located near a lovely pizzeria with excellent staff, the town center, and a scenic promenade along the lake. Guests can enjoy a delightful breakfast featuring sweet pastries, making for a very peaceful experience overall.

We managed to have the best room at the hotel. Even so it was so overprised. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Needs renovation.It was 13 degrees in the morning and no heating was on

The stay here was calm and pleasant, with the convenience of a private bathroom.

The hotel is very so so. I think it does not too many advantages - localization directly at the lake is definitely one. The staff is quite helpful - that would be the second. And last at the same time...

Equipment of the room is simply old. Very old. Hotel does not meet current european stanards (even for 3*). Everything is clean, yes this is truth, but you still feel like you have entered to the hotel in 50'ties or 60'ties. Restaurant is below any standard - prices agains food quality are not competitive at all - if you are hungry - just take your coat and eat outside (E.G. La baita restaurant - less than 1km away serving very good german food and beer) Even when you check out - there are surprises - meals and drinks which you have individually ordered for your dinner - on your bill suddenly become a "menu of the day" - trying to match its price with indiviudal prices of order meals are failure alredy before your started. Summarizing - if you are considering Hotel Europa - think again - and make sure that you do not prefer any other hotel in the area - La Locanda or La Veranda - not so far away, but with descent service for your money.

We had a comfortable double room with a balcony and appreciated the wake-up service provided.

The location is excellent - in front of Lago Maggiore, a few metres from the beach and the ferry. Nice walks in the direction of Ranco which can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes. The bar under the hotel (under separate ownership?) is very pleasant and does excellent light meals at low prices. The rooms are quite large, the beds comfortable, and the hotel is very clean. The room comes with 'fridge (minbar), fast free internet access, balcony and is adequately furnished. If working at CCR Ispra, the site is only a few minutes drive away.

The hotel looks very tired and in need of an overhaul. The electrics looked well dodgy (everything seemed to be hung off one multiway adaptor which was broken). The hot water was at best warm and flowed rather slowly. The staff were polite and helpful but all of them looked miserable. An injection of happiness is needed to brighten the place. Despite the nagatives the hotel is good value and given its location can be recommended - just don't expect luxury.

The view to the lake is amazing.

The hotel is quite noisy as one can hear everything in the corridors and partly from the other rooms. It wasn't too bad for me because the hotel was not very full. The mattress was not good and the bathroom could do with quite some improvements.
